TERMS

AND

CONDITIONS

1. Drivers

All motorcycle riders must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving license issued at least one year prior, valid for driving the rented vehicle in Spain. All electric scooter users must be at least 16 years old. Any consequences arising from failure to meet these requirements shall be borne by the renter. We offer a customer service via email at info@motosbravas.com to handle suggestions and complaints. Motos Bravas reserves the right to refuse the rental based on the renter’s incident history or failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions.

2. Availability

If the selected model is not available, a model of a similar category will be provided, or we will refund the amount already paid if, unfortunately, it has broken down and cannot be repaired in time.

3. Payment

All rates are quoted in euros. Payment is only accepted online by credit card, and on-site by cash, credit card, or Bizum.

4. Fuel

The Renter will be responsible for properly refueling the vehicle. If, for any reason, the vehicle is not returned with the same fuel level as when it was delivered, the deposit paid for this purpose at the time of rental will not be refunded.

5. Limits and Roadside Assistance

Mileage is unlimited. All our vehicles include roadside assistance. Roadside assistance is limited to a radius of 57.5 km around the pick-up point. This assistance consists of attempting to repair the breakdown on-site if possible and, if not, transporting the driver (and passenger, if any) to the vehicle pick-up point or to a location along the way.

6. Rental Period and Schedule

The minimum rental period is one full calendar day, regardless of the pick-up and return times, and it will be extended in whole calendar days, not in 24-hour periods. The earliest pick-up time is 8:00 a.m., and the latest return time is 11:00 p.m. Please note that coverage may not apply after midnight, and you would be responsible for any incidents that occur.

7. Delays in Vehicle Pickup

We kindly ask our customers to inform us of any potential delays regarding the pickup time. The reservation will not be lost if the vehicle is picked up later than agreed; however, you may have to wait until Motos Bravas is available to assist you again.

8. Delays in Vehicle Return

We kindly ask our customers to inform us of any potential delays regarding the return time. The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date and time, and the rental period cannot be extended unilaterally. However, you may contact us, and we will be happy to find a solution. Please note that the vehicle will be used by other customers after you and requires time for maintenance checks. If you return the vehicle more than one hour later than agreed without authorization from Motos Bravas, a fee of €50 will apply. If the vehicle is returned more than two hours late without prior notice, it will be considered stolen, and the appropriate legal actions will be taken as deemed necessary.

9. Pickup and Return Location

After completing the payment, you will receive an email with the exact location where the vehicle must be picked up, always within the chosen town. The vehicle must be returned to the same location.

10. Responsible Use of Accessories and Documentation

The renter will be responsible for the proper care and use of the accessories, such as helmets, alarm locks, etc. Failure to do so may result in a penalty covering the value of the lost, stolen, or damaged accessory, without prejudice to any legal action the renter may initiate. Charges for damage, deterioration, loss, theft, or robbery of the accessories included with the vehicle will be applied as a replacement cost.

  • Motorbike helmet: 100€
  • Helmet's cover
  • Electric scooter helmet's cover: 40 €
  • Alarm: 70 €
  • Documentation: 100 €
  • Top case: 150€
  • Phone mount: 20€
11. Extras

All extras are subject to availability. Extras include specific helmet sizes and any items that are not the vehicle itself or its documentation.

12. Comprehensive coverage with or without deductible for motorcycles and scooters.

The renter’s liability for damage to the vehicle is limited to the amount specified in the contract. This coverage excludes accessories, damage to the wheels, any missing items or damage resulting from them, deterioration or damage caused by misuse, negligence, or recklessness of the driver, or by failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions or applicable law.

The price of the repairs will be the amount of the workshop invoices and/or the cost of the materials, plus the price of one day’s rental for each day the vehicle is out of service. The maximum repair cost shall not exceed the amount provided as a deposit.

Personal belongings that may be stolen from the various storage spaces of the motorcycle or that are in any way attached to it are not covered. Therefore, it is recommended not to leave valuable items exposed or inside these storage spaces.

13. Responsible care of electric scooters

The renter’s liability for damage to the scooter is limited to the purchase price of the unit for Motos Bravas.

The cost of repairs will be the price shown on the workshop invoices and/or the cost of materials, plus the price of one day’s rental for each day the vehicle is out of service.

If the scooter is not returned for any reason (the renter does not show up, the item disappears, theft by a third party, etc.), the renter will be held responsible and must pay the purchase price of the item. The owner may take legal action if the renter refuses to make such payment or fails to appear.

14. Breakdown coverage

In the case of an accidental breakdown, the renter will be exempt from responsibility for the breakdown and will be provided with a replacement vehicle as soon as possible. The replacement vehicle can be picked up at the same location where the rental vehicle was collected and can be used for the duration of the rental contract. The replacement vehicle will be subject to the same contractual conditions as the rented vehicle.

If no replacement vehicle is available, the renter will be refunded the rental price for that day and the following days, and the rental agreement will be considered terminated.

15. Infractions

All infractions and associated costs, as well as any others incurred during the rental period that are the renter's responsibility, will be borne by the renter, without prejudice to any legal actions that may be initiated. Examples of such infractions include fines for speeding, parking the vehicle in prohibited areas, or traveling without a helmet.

16. Reservations and refunds

Returns are not accepted if the customer, after making a reservation, decides not to complete the payment in order to use the rental service.
